Arrived in Singapore

I arrived in Singapore on 4/1/09, 4 pm. Srilankan airline took 24 hours to reach Singapore from London. This was my first travel experience with Srilankan airline and due to poor service, I have promised myself that I'll never take Srilankan airline. The plane was packed and departed on time at 10:20 AM from London. I requested to allocate me an exit row seat but it was taken already. I was lucky that seated next to an empty seat. It took about 11 hours to arrive in Colombo. I was totaly flat with two heavy hand carry bags. Unfortunaly, the flight got delayed due to an immigration glitch at colombo for three hours. Overall I had a very bad travel experience: The airline had old uncomfortable bus-size seats & toilets in tatty condition. The service standard en-rout from Colombo to Singapore was a disgrace. Flight attendants were completely uninterested in their duty, I would say its like they were forced to perform the duty, unhelpful & downright rude too.
